(winner of the 'Public Vote' at Waterfront Hall Exhibition 2005) 

This piece was commissioned to mark the 175th anniversary of May Street Church.  It features Belfast city centre buildings, that are significant in the history of the church: City Hall, Fisherwick, Robinson Cleaver, Ross's (a former Presbyterian Church House), Shiels (a former Church of Ireland headquarters), St Malachy's Roman Catholic Church, the statue of Rev Henry Cooke (outside Inst), the Georgian Terraces of Little May Street and the river Farset that runs beneath the church.
